2020 has been the year of change. The entire world has been disturbed by lockdowns, home quarantine and daily stressful news… Everyone spent more time at home that ever before and we were never prepared for it. We learned how to work and do various activities with no physical interactions. Being a Nomad is the exact opposite.
I wanted to offer fusion pilates classes which can be adaptable for both online and face to face. I decided to break away from the monotony and bring movement into a space as small as the size of a yoga matt. As we can no longer travel as much as we used to, Nomad takes you on a journey of personal discover & self transformation.
Experience the re-energising benefits of a mix of Pilates & power yoga while working on your core muscles to strengthen your body and relax your mind.
I am a French mum of 3 who’s lived as an expat for more than 15years.
In 2003, after a Master in Business & Economics and graduating from KEDGE ( Higher Business School), I moved to Shanghai in Asia to discover its culture and learn Mandarin. I worked with reknown Chinese designer, JennyJi and met an amazing Chinese yoga & pilates teacher, WuFei. They became both very good friends. They taught me a lot.
My wellbeing journey starting from there…
I learnt the Yin & Yang principles, the benefits of the Chinese Traditional Medicine and I became addicted to yoga and pilates. Since then, I never stoped practicing my newly discovered passion.
Being a sports aficionado from childhood and practicing tough sports (moto, jumping, polo, snowboard…), I never realized how important it was to work on both your body & mind.
To find a balance in life became my revelation.
After working in various industries for 15 years, travelling many continents, and handling lots of stress, I decided at 38, to take a break. Pregnant with my 3rd child I started to study and train to become a yoga and pilates instructor. Blessed with a new baby yet challenged with the strain and recuperation of my 3rd c-section, I developed a strong diastasic recti*; this prompted me to specialize in post-partum pilates instruction. I wanted to help other women to reeducate their body after giving birth, carefully and gently teaching them the bespoke exercices to restore their muscles and tone. Then 2020 came…
Being a Nomad became my leitmotiv to offer women and mums “Un voyage au coeur de soi-meme”, a discovery & journey into one’s inner self, a way to escape from our daily routine while working on our core muscles & relaxing our mind.
I invite you to take the less traveled road while along the way… reinventing yourself!
